This marsh type is dominated by Phragmites australis, with participation of the wetland fern Thelypteris palustris. It is a rare vegetation type of mesotrophic fishponds, where is occurs as floating islets in 30–100 cm deep water. It has been recorded near Doksy in northern Bohemia and near Soběslav in southern Bohemia.
