new search

This alliance includes vegetation of trampled habitats with dominance or frequent occurrence of Polygonum arenastrum, which is mostly found in lowlands and colline landscapes, on warm and dry sites. Some communities contain southern European species which are archaeophytes in central Europe, e.g. Coronopus squamatus. Eragrostis minor and Sclerochloa dura. This alliance is distributed across the temperate zone of Europe.
