Chaerophylletum aromatici Neuhäuslová-Novotná et al. 1969

new search

This association includes stands of Chaerophyllum aromaticum, a broad-leaved perennial herb. It occurs on shaded, but also sunny sites with mesic, nutrient-rich soils, e.g. on stream banks, on roadsides, along walls and fences, in unmanaged gardens, parks or on disturbed fringes of forests of scrub. Chaerophylletum aromatici is common across the Czech Republic, particularly in humid colline to submontane areas. In the lowlands it is confined to shaded and wet places.
